North Shore police still have concerns for the whereabouts of an elderly
Korean man who was last seen at his home address in Ellen Ave, Hillcrest, at
around 3.00pm yesterday afternoon.
Hoo Kim aged 87, is thought to be wearing a white cap, brown chequered
jumper, black track suit pants, and black slippers.
He speaks some English and answers to his name. He has relatively good health and is active.
Mr Kim has wandered off before and has been found as far away as Albany and Devonport. He suffers from Alzheimer's and could be disorientated and be sitting in a public place in plain view. This could be anything from a mall, library or bus shelter.
Senior Sergeant Kevin Brennan says Police are now very concerned due to the time period since he has last been seen.
"We would like to locate Mr Kim as soon as possible to return him home safely to his family."
If you have seen Mr Kim or have any information that could help in locating him please call North Shore Police Station on 09 477 5000.
