Scott Guy homicide to feature on Police Ten-7

1 min read

The case of Scott Guy, who was shot dead outside his home in Feilding in July, is to feature on the TV crime show Police Ten-7 this week.

It's nearly three months since the 31-year-old dairy farmed was killed as he left his Aorangi Road home early on the morning of Thursday, 8 July, to milk the cows on the nearby family farm.

This Thursday (7 October) at 7.30pm, Police Ten-7 will be asking viewers to cast their minds back to that day, and to come forward with any information that might be relevant to Scott's death.

The programme will also reiterate specific appeals relating to three chocolate labrador puppies taken from Scott's property, two vehicles seen on Aorangi Road on the morning of the murder, and the shotgun used to kill Scott, which has not yet been recovered.

Detective Inspector Sue Schwalger said: "It's always been a consideration to use Police Ten-7 as another means of eliciting information. It is a different audience and demographic to other media and with any investigation you look at ways you can reach different audiences. It is also a chance to remind people that we are still looking for information in relation to Scott's death."
