A missing 22 year-old Indian woman has Auckland City Police concerned for her safety and wellbeing.
Nikita Bhai of Sandringham Rd, Mt Roskill, was last seen at home by her brother at about 1.30pm on Friday, June 16. After an argument with her brother she left the house wearing an old pink round-necked tee shirt and blue cargo pants. She was not wearing any shoes.
Sergeant Matt Srhoj [pron. Sir-hoy] of the Avondale Police says the fact that Nikita left her home poorly clad for the cold conditions of the past few days is only one of the concerns Police have about her.
"Further to that, Nikita is a sickness beneficiary but left the house without any medication," Mr Srhoj said. "The family tells us she's not a particularly social young woman and that she spends most of her time at home. She has no money with her and we're told her disappearance is definitely out of character."
Nikita Bhai is described as Indian, standing about 163 cms tall, she has black hair with some blonde streaks, is of solid build, has brown eyes and a large mole on her upper lip.
Anyone who knows where she might be, has seen her sometime in the past few days or has any information for Police should contact Sergeant Matt Srhoj at the Avondale Police on 09 820 5701.
