Hamilton Police investigating the early morning assault of a man that resulted in the victim have an ear being bitten in half and a stab wound to the neck have identified a person of interest to the inquiry.

Detective Senior Sergeant Karl Thornton said Police were seeking information on the whereabouts of Karl Matthew BETTRIDGE, 27, of Melville.
