A Hamilton student who allegedly threatened other pupils with a knife at a central City school yesterday has been charged in relation to the incident.
Police were called to Hamilton Girls High School about 11.40am after reports a student, who had threatened to kill a number of other girls, was being held in the Principal's office.
A female teacher who persuaded the girl to put down her knife is expected to be interviewed by Police today.
Interviewed yesterday afternoon the 15-year-old student was charged with assault and threatening to kill and will appear in the Hamilton Youth Court today.
