The name of a man who died at a private care facility in the west of Hamilton over the weekend has been released.
Hone Dennis TERRY, 38, died at the Dinsdale facility early Saturday evening.
Reports in some media Mr Terry was a mental health patient and that the facility is connected to the Waikato District health Board are incorrect.
Detective Senior Sergeant Karl Thornton of the Hamilton CIB said a post-mortem carried out in Auckland on Sunday had been inconclusive and identified further investigation was required to determine the cause of Mr TERRY'S death.
"All I can say at this time is Mr TERRY had a number of pre-existing medical conditions, his medical background is currently being checked which includes a request for his medical records.
"We've interviewed a number of witnesses and are not seeking anyone else in relation to this death at this time, our enquiries are continuing," he said.
