Missing equipment returned

1 min read

The piece of radar equipment that went missing from the doorway of the Airways Corporation on 6 January has been returned to police.

Sgt Andy McEntee say that a person brought the $100,000 piece of equipment into Christchurch Central last night. It had been found in a vacant address in Harewood Road.

He says he is satisfied that the person who found the box was not the person who originally removed it from the door of the Airways corporation.

The equipment will be forensically examined before being returned to the Airways Corporation.
