A 67-year-old man missing overnight in the Rangiwahia area is safe and well.
He walked out of the area of his own accord around 8.35am this morning mildly hypothermic but otherwise unharmed.
His family have been updated and search teams are being stood down.
We don't know at this stage why he was in the bush last night of how he spent the night. His health and welfare is the first priority, after which those details will be established.
