The names of the two deceased from the Cessna crash near Leithfield Beach on Sunday afternoon are now officially released:
Russell Peter Smith aged 60 years and his wife Marian May D'Eve aged 58 years.
Both are from Aylesbury, Canterbury.
Senior Constable Rob Irvine from Amberley Police has done several runs down the beach today and a lot of items from the plane have been salvaged he says.
"We've found the rear seats and one of the front seats in the tide, a wing strut and other small pieces," he says. "We've also had an excellent response from the public with a lot of sightings of the Cessna on Sunday."
Anyone with information or who has found wreckage is asked to contact Police.
