Porirua Police would like to cheer up a Lions supporter by reuniting the tourist with their digital camera.
A member of the public found the camera near Countdown supermarket in Porirua last night and handed it into Porirua Police today.
Some of the photos on the camera were taken around the Wellington waterfront and at last Saturday night's test at Westpac Stadium. Police are hoping someone will recognise the faces of these people who feature in several of the photos so that the camera can be returned to its owner.
Some of the photos include people in Lions supporters clothing, including one red-shirted group of four men wearing black Cossack style hats to the game at the stadium. Another shot features four men and a woman standing on Queen's Wharf.
It's possible the camera is owned by an overseas tourist as several campervans are featured - or the owner could be a Wellington based Lions supporter.
If you think the camera belongs to you, please contact Porirua Police Tactical Intelligence Group on: 04 238 1400. You will need to describe the camera's make and model to help establish ownership.
