Police have named the person who died in the collision with a ferry in the Marlborough Sounds last evening.
The deceased person's name is Norman McFARLANE, aged 66, of Picton.
He was located deceased by emergency services who attended the collision
Enquiries into the circumstances of the collision are continuing.
