Everyone from farm workers and contractors through to whitebaiters and boaties who were in the coastal South Wairarapa area the day Coral Burrows died is being asked to contact the police investigation team.
Detective Senior Sergeant Simon Perry, second in charge of Operation Reef, says officers are tracing the movements of two cars -- a white Lada station wagon and a beige Lada sedan.
As part of this police want to hear from people who were living, working, travelling or taking part in recreational activity in the Lake Onoke (Ferry), southern part of the Western Lake Road heading towards Wharekauhau and Ocean Beach, and East-West Access Road between 8am and 4pm on Tuesday, 9 September -- the day Coral disappeared.
"We will be canvassing residents in these areas tomorrow but it’s likely that a lot of other people were simply passing through for work, fishing, boating or some other activity.
"It’s important we speak to these people to see if they can help the inquiry."
Police are also interested in sightings of the two Ladas or people associated with these vehicles in the Double Bridges, Featherston and South Featherston School areas. The number to call is freephone 0508 677 333 or 0508 OP REEF.
