A well-deserved award

Congratulations to Bay of Plenty Senior Constable Adrian Oldham, who has received the Royal Humane Society’s Bronze Medal for his heroic rescue of a 78-year-old woman last year.

“It's just my job and I'd do it tomorrow at the drop of a hat,” said Adrian at the ceremony, during which he received his award from Tauranga Mayor Stuart Crosby.

“I just love Adrian,” said Neta Lawrence, the woman he rescued.
