To report or not to report?
To report or not to report?
Reporting an incident, no matter how small, could help police find and prosecute an offender.
Reporting even minor incidents does not waste police time. It contributes to a bigger picture of crime in the area, and helps police decide where to concentrate resources.
Police often arrive at a scene and discover several similar crimes have gone unreported. They then have to spend time trying to find complainants to match the crimes.
Anyone who notices anything suspicious should call police, day or night.
