Chat to the Commissioner
Chat to the Commissioner
As we prepare for our first National Police Open Day on Saturday, Commissioner Mike Bush will be answering your questions in a live online chat session.
Policing in New Zealand has changed enormously in recent years. If you’re interested in our work to prevent crime and crashes, or any other aspect of what we do, Mike will be available to chat about it here on the Police website from 11.30am on Thursday.
Then it will be all systems go for Open Day, when police nationwide will be opening the doors of stations and other sites, such as the Royal New Zealand Police College at Porirua, to their communities.
There will be a range of attractions and activities on offer, from police dogs in Kaitaia to a Blue Light barbecue in Invercargill, all to help enhance understanding of the work of a modern police service. You’ll find details, videos and more on our Open Day page.
We look forward to meeting you!
