On initial reporting however ensure that you provide as many contact details as possible including email address, cell phone, Facebook and other social media account names. This is especially important if you are planning further international travel away from your normal place of residence. This will allow New Zealand Police to keep you informed or to contact you about any significant event relating to your report.
