Pike River Mine Conveyor Belt Investigation reports, documents and videos

Investigation reports, documents and videos regarding the conveyor belt system which operated in the drift of the Pike River Mine. The investigation focussed on the design and operation of the conveyor belt system; the state of the mine at the time of the second explosion and the proposal to start the conveyor and the risk assessment process. The summary report was published in May 2019 and supporting documents, videos and full investigation report were released in July 2019 under the Official Information Act. Redactions are made to the documents under Section 9(2)(a) of the Official Information Act.
