Wairarapa

Police advise motorists to exercise caution when travelling through the South Wairarapa area and going over the Rimutaka Hill due to high winds. Particular caution is to be taken by motorcyclists and drivers of high sided vehicles.

The MetService advise that these northwest gales are expected to ease this afternoon.
